Certification Levels
Prerequisites
- Current PSIA-AASI / PSIA-AASI NRM membership
- Complete and pass the Telemark Level 1 Professional Knowledge Exam
Assessment Modules
- Day 1: Ski Performance + Movement Analysis / Technical Understanding
- Day 2: Teaching and People Skills
- Each assessment day is scored separately with written and verbal feedback.
- Passed modules are banked with the region — at a future assessment you only join the module(s) you still need.
- Assessment activity demonstrations are available as videos — see the '(video)' entries under Documents.
Professional Knowledge Exam
Telemark Level 1 Professional Knowledge Exam required (via the PSIA-AASI LMS).

Entry-level telemark certification. Assessment activities include shuffle turns, hockey stops, monomarks, garlands, uphill arcs, skating.
Prerequisites
- Telemark Level 1 certification
- Complete and pass the Telemark Level 2 Professional Knowledge Exam
- Attend a Level II Telemark prep clinic or Telemark Educational Event
