Individual Scholarships are for NRM members in good standing who plan to attend NRM-sanctioned events.
How to apply
- Complete the application below.
- Request a director recommendation through the Director Recommendation form. Your director may submit it before or after your application; we will match it by name.
- Register for the event indicated in your application, including payment.
Your application is complete when both the application and your director’s recommendation are received by the deadline.
- Submit application materials by November 15 for first consideration.
- Applications received after November 15 and before February 15 may be considered if funding remains available.
- If you received an Individual Scholarship last season, you are not eligible for the following season.
- Please make sure your Snowsports School Director submits a recommendation on your behalf.

Have this ready before you start:
- Your PSIA-AASI member number
- The NRM event you plan to attend, and its date
- The mailing address your scholarship check should go to
- A few sentences on how the event supports your goals

Once you have applied, send your director to the Director Recommendation page so they can add their part.
After you receive a scholarship
If you receive a scholarship, your check will be mailed to the address on your application after you complete these steps:
- Attend the event. Please register in advance.
- Share your experience. Submit a brief article or letter describing what you learned and how you plan to use it in your professional and personal goals as an instructor. Our donors enjoy hearing from those who benefit from their generosity. Photos and videos from the event are also appreciated.
Send all requested materials to the NRM Region office. Applicants will be notified after the EF Committee makes its decision.
